Gripe!
Overused (by me) French word of the week: vraiment.
"VRAIMENT, je dois partir maintenant!" "Je suis vraiment desolée." "C'est vraiment facile."
Vraiment, I use it all the time and I need to stop.
Extremely overused (by my French roommate) French words of the week: "Ban" - "Fan" - "Quoi"
I hate these three words with my entire soul. Every other word out of her mouth is, "Ban, je sais pas... fan, peut-être mais... arrête quoi, putain des americains, vous êtes completement folles." and it's not just her, every French kid under the age of 30 uses them nonstop! I thought they were more like slang but students use them in front of professors all the time so I don't understand exactly their place in the land of proper French usage.
