My France home.

My town, Aix-en-Provence!

This is just the centre-ville of Aix, not all the outlying areas, but this is pretty much the only part of town I frequent since I walk everywhere. It's MUCH smaller than it looks, the walk from the yellow star to the red star is only 15 minutes, or about a mile.

I live at the yellow star in the bottom right corner on rue Sallier.
The circle right above the yellow star marks the church (Eglise Saint Jean de Malte) whose bells wake me up every morning.
The circle in the bottom left corner is the where the program office is located, that's where I pick up any mail people send me.
The red arrow pointing down is the direction of the French university I attend. It's about a mile that direction past the Parc Jourdan and over the railroad tracks.
The circle in the center marks the place I typically buy my baguettes. I buy baguettes at other places, but this place is my favorite.
The red star near the top of the map is the language school where I take a phonetics and a writing class.
The black line near the left of the map is rue Fermée, that's where my friends Amber and Chris live.
The black line to the right of the map is rue Rifle Rafle! My friends Lindsey, Jon, Laura and Casper live on the corner of rue Chabrier and Rifle Rafle! It's my favorite street name in the city.
