Le troisieme jour.

Still no internet, but hopefully next week. I move into my apartment tomorrow, it's so French it hurts. The place is huge and I'm paying less than everyone I've talked to so far for a place that would house another four American kids at least. It's day three, but it feels like three weeks already. We're so busy with disorganized meetings, disorganized museum trips, and for everyone else, disorganized apartment hunting.

Some highlights so far:
- Going out for drinks the first night with a horde of Americans, making friends with a table of French kids and eventually high-fiving one of them. Twice.
- Seeing my very first apartment ever and not freaking out, even though I am going to live with four other girls.
- Finding out I'm not the worst one here.
- Buying stamps (les timbres) for myself at La Poste, completely in French, no repeating myself or weird looks from the cashier.

Tonight there is a cocktail party, this weekend we're going to Saint Tropez for a day at the beach, and next Tuesday we finally start our intro class. Life in France is so hard!
